A vacancy has arisen for a highly skilled and qualified Facilities HVAC Technician to join the team at PD Ports. The ideal candidate will specialise in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building services equipment, lighting, heating and ventilation. The role demands a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components of HVAC systems.

 

Location: Tees Dock, Middlesbrough.

Working Arrangements: 162.5 hours per month.

 

The five main things our HVAC Technician will be working on are:

  • Commissioning hot and cold water systems.
  • Fault diagnosis and rectification on cold water, hot water and central heating systems.
  • Electrical installation/repair of various electrical and heating systems.
  • Following PPM schedules on a variety of assets.
  • Responding to business-critical breakdowns and undertaking time bound repairs.

 

We are seeking someone who:

  • Is a fully time served HVAC Technician.
  • Holds an NVQ Level 3 in Building Services Engineering.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Has the ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
