A vacancy has arisen for a full time HGV Trailer Technician at PD Ports within the Fleet Department.

 

Location: Tees Dock, Middlesborough, TS6 6UD

Working Arrangements: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. (07:30am – 15:30pm)

Salary: £44,853.00

 

The five main things our Trailer Technician will be working on are:

  • Completing planned 8-weekly inspections.
  • Applying proven Trailer Technician expertise to maintain and repair equipment.
  • Ensuring all tasks are carried out to the highest standards.
  • Carry out on-site repairs as required.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of pneumatics and electrics.

 

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has the ability to work alone as well as part of a team.
  • Adheres to all Health and Safety policies .
  • Holds a recognised qualification in HGV/Trailer maintenance or a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Possesses strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintains accurate service and repair records.
  • Possesses a flexible approach with the ability to respond to operational needs at short notice in all weather conditions.
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and takes pride in workmanship.
