Security Officer

Vacancies have arisen for two full time Security Officers at PD Ports within the Security Team.

Location: Teesside and Hartlepool
Working Arrangements: Contractual hours of work are 182 hours per month working 12 hours shifts. Currently, the shift pattern is: ‘4 on, 4 off,’ including 2 x days on, 2 x nights on, and 4 days off.

The five main things our Security Officers will be working on are:
• Monitoring access control systems
• Report and recording of incidents
• Undertake perimeter and site patrols
• Customer service (dealing with internal and external visitors)
• Updating and provision of reports electronically and working in line with procedures and safe systems of work

We are seeking someone who:
• Has a full UK driving licence (car/manual)
• SIA Door Supervisor (desirable but not essential)
• SIA CCTV (desirable but not essential)
• Previous security experience (desirable but not essential)
• IT Skills (Microsoft Office etc)
