The business is seeking to recruit for the role of Compliance Coordinator to provide support to the Bulks Operations Management Team covering activities relating to Compliance and PD Ports Group Procedures

 

Location: Tees and Hartlepool Bulks Department

Working Arrangements: 35 Hours per week, Monday to Friday.

 

The five main things our Compliance Co-Ordinator will be working on are:

  • Supporting Bulks Operational Management in implementing company policies, procedures and best practice placed upon the Bulks North Department by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordination of the Bulks Operational Reporting processes, and liaising with the Bulks Operations Management team on such matters.
  • Provide support for the Bulks Operational Management Teams for maintaining compliance with ISO and TASCC accreditations held by the company at a local level, in liaison with the Bulks Operations Management team and Group HSE Team.
  • Working with the Bulks Operations Teams on aspects of waste management, customer / regulatory enquiries and Environmental Permitted activities.
  • Provide assistance with External Audits of Compliance and Assurance related aspects within the Bulks Department and undertaking of Internal Audits across certified accreditation held by the company.

 

We are seeking someone who:

  • Possesses a high level of computer literacy, Microsoft Office and analytical skills.
  • Has an awareness of Management Systems.
  • Can work with other PD Ports Departments to drive best practice and continual improvement as part of the wider Compliance Functions.
  • Has a knowledge or an awareness of Waste Management and HMRC requirements for the import and export of cargo through the ports, however training can be provided.
  • Has a high degree of self-motivation, the ability to effectively prioritise workloads and manage time. The role is wide and varied, with no two days the same so being able to maintain a good focus and being able to multitask is a good attribute to the role.
