AV Dawson Transport Ltd is part of the AV Dawson group. The Teesside business which owns and operates Port of Middlesbrough has an 80 year track record in logistics and is looking to expand its team of HGV drivers.

AV Dawson Transport Ltd works in a variety of sectors including steel segments, automotive coil, bulk goods (tippers), ADR goods. All drivers are expected to complete a varied workload.

The key aspects of the roles include:

• Unloading, loading and supervising of loading of goods
• Adherence to safe working procedures and legislative requirements inclusive of accurate completion of tachograph.
• Completion of appropriate records and documentation relating to delivery and transportation as part of company procedures.

The successful applicant will:

• Have a Class 1 Driving license (C+E)
• A full CPC license
• Be a good team worker
• Be efficient and an excellent timekeeper

Full and part time working hours available as well as driver apprenticeship roles where achievement of a Class 1 training certificate would be supported.
