The Port Clarence Yard is situated on the North East Coast of England, on the North Bank of the River Tees, upstream and adjacent to the Transporter Bridge, at Middlesbrough. It is the main facility that Wilton Engineering and Universal Coatings operate from and is one of the largest riverside facilities in the UK. The site encompasses over fifty acres of land with three load out quays and also a slipway for launching directly into the River Tees.
